On Tuesday, the Partridge Green Ladies played their final Hepsy League game of the season, taking on Ditchling at home! 🧡⚾💚

It was a brilliant game with plenty of runs on the board, and we finished the Hepsy season with a WIN! 🙌🏻👏🏻

Well… we survived the Family Fun Day Mixed Tournament! 😂👏🏻

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came along, supported us, put a team together and got out there and gave stoolball a go! Whether you were smashing boundaries, dropping catches, running when you probably shouldn't have been or just enjoying a drink from the bar… we hope you had a brilliant time! 😂🍻⚾

Days like today don't happen without lots of people mucking in, so a huge thank you to everyone who helped set up, worked behind the bar, helped with the raffle, donated some fantastic raffle prizes and generally lent a hand wherever it was needed. You are all absolute stars! 🌟💚

⚾💚 FAMILY FUN DAY MIXED STOOLBALL TOURNAMENT 💚⚾

Join us on Sunday 9th August for a fantastic day of stoolball, fun and community spirit!

We're looking for teams of 4 men and 4 women, made up of friends, family, colleagues or local businesses, to take part in our friendly mixed tournament. No matter your experience, everyone is welcome to get involved and enjoy a great day out.

Whether you're playing or just coming along to support, we'd love to see you there for what promises to be a brilliant day of sport, laughter and friendly competition.

Over the last two weeks, we've kicked off our Hepsy League season with two incredibly close games, with only a handful of runs separating the teams! 💚⚾

On 23rd July, Blackstone Stoolball Club just edged the win, before we bounced back on 28th July with a fantastic victory away at Chailey Stoolball. Well done to everyone involved!

Tomorrow we're back at home as we take on Lindfield Stoolball Club, with play starting from 6:30/6:45pm on the park. We'd love to see plenty of support, so come along and cheer the team on! 💚

Looking ahead to Sunday 9th August, we're hosting our Family Fun Day Mixed Stoolball Tournament! Teams will be made up of club players and local businesses for what promises to be a brilliant day of fun, sport and community.

On Tuesday, Partridge Green Ladies played their final Central League match of the season at home against Chailey Stoolball. 💚⚾

Chailey won the toss and chose to field first. They came out strongly, taking wickets early and putting us under pressure. Despite that, everyone kept battling until the end. Our batting scores were:

🏏 Charlotte – 21
🏏 Beckie – 15
🏏 Kirsty Spooner – 10
🏏 Sally – 7
🏏 Nic Owens – 6
🏏 Betsy – 5
🏏 Louise – 5
🏏 Katie – 5
We finished on a total of 90 runs. 👏🏻

It was then our turn to field, and what a great start we had, taking our first wicket in the opening over! Betsy had a fantastic game, taking two catches, one from Katie's bowling and one from Sally's. Sally and Nic Owens also took a catch each from Katie's bowling, with Katie also bowling a player out. The whole team kept things tight in the field, restricting Chailey to 71 runs to secure the win. 👏🏻💚

A huge well done to everyone, and thank you to Chailey for a fantastic game played in great spirit. 💚⚾🩵

Tomorrow we'll be at Partridge Green Youth Club, introducing the children to the wonderful game of stoolball. We can't wait! ⚾

Last night, Partridge Green Ladies Stoolball Team travelled to Blackstone Stoolball Club for our second-to-last league game of the season before we move on to the Hepsy League matches! 💚⚾

We won the toss and chose to field first. Everyone put in a fantastic performance in the field! I hope everyone's hands and limbs have recovered today, not too many bruises! 😂

We took 4 wickets, with Katie bowling out two players and Isla taking one. A brilliant catch from Nic C off Sally's bowling was another highlight of the innings. 👏🏻

Batting was another great team effort, with a fantastic partnership from Sally and Isla. Isla finished on an incredible 71 not out! 💪🏻👏🏻 Sally added 30 runs, Beckie scored 15, Karen finished on 11 not out, and Charlotte managed 2 runs before being spectacularly run out with some impressive football skills from Blackstone! 🙈⚽

Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough, with Blackstone taking the win 154-132.

Well done to everyone for another brilliant game, and thank you to Blackstone for a fun and competitive evening. On to our final league game before the Hepsy League begins! 💚⚾

It's been a busy couple of weeks for the Partridge Green Ladies Stoolball Team! 💚⚾

On Tuesday 23rd June, we welcomed Lindfield for a thrilling home match. It was a real nail-biter from start to finish, with Lindfield just pipping us to the post to take the win. Well played, Lindfield! 💚⚾💚

On Tuesday 30th June, we travelled to Ardingly for another fantastic evening of stoolball. It was played in a great spirit with a brilliant atmosphere throughout. They came away with the win, but it was an enjoyable game for everyone involved. Well done, Ardingly! 💚⚾🖤

Then yesterday, we hosted our friendly Hepsy tournament. With four teams taking part, it was a relaxed and enjoyable day where everyone had the chance to get involved and have a go. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a great day.

Congratulations to Lindfield for taking the tournament win, and well done to Ardingly for finishing as runners-up! 👏💚⚾🖤⚾💚⚾🧡

Ditchling won the toss and chose to field first, but our batters were ready to put on a show! 👏

We then backed it up in the field with another brilliant team performance!
