Customer came into the shop today with an e-bike that had previously been converted to single speed — but he wanted his gears back! ⚙️🔋🚲

We got him sorted with a fresh 8-speed setup:

🔧 SunRace rear derailleur
🔧 SunRace 8-speed shifter

All set up, dialled in and back up and running with gears! 🙌⚙️

🔧 V-brake ➡️ Disc Brake Conversion 🚲

This Specialized MTB came into the shop for a proper upgrade and refresh.

We swapped the rigid forks for a set of suspension forks with disc caliper mounts, opening the door for a full disc brake conversion. 🙌

♻️ Pre-loved wheelset — Mavic rear, plus a custom-built front wheel using a Nukeproof rim laced to a Shimano hub.

🛑 New disc brake set from by Tiger Cycles , giving it a serious upgrade in stopping power at a very decent price

And while it was on the stand, we gave it a little service to finish things off, including a fresh 8-speed chain & cassette. 🔧

A great way to breathe some new life into an older MTB without replacing the whole bike. 👌

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ IRONMAN race prep in the workshop! 🔧

We’ve had a few TT / triathlon bikes through the workshop recently, getting those all-important final checks and servicing done ahead of IRONMAN Leeds💪

Two Canyon Speedmax machines were amongst them and are now race-day ready! ⚡️

One Speedmax came in for a new disc wheel setup, fitted with an 11-speed Shimano 11–28 cassette and a fresh chain — drivetrain sorted and ready to put the power down. 🚀

The second was in for a pre-race health check, with the gears and brakes checked, aligned and adjusted to make sure everything is working exactly as it should when it matters most.

When you’ve put months of training into getting to the start line, the last thing you want to worry about is the bike! 🔧

Bikes checked. Riders ready. Next stop: IRONMAN Leeds🏁💪

🔧 Pinarello workshop day 🇮🇹

A stunning Pinarello Dogma F12 in with us after being transported back from France, with a Di2 issue to diagnose alongside a full headset bearing replacement.

On the F12, changing the headset bearings is a little more involved than your average bearing swap — both brake hoses are internally routed straight through the centre of the bearings, meaning both hoses have to be disconnected and removed before the bearings can be replaced. 🛠️

We also had this Pinarello Grevil on the stand for a fresh set of headset bearings and a thorough check-over, making sure everything is running exactly as it should.

Two very different Pinarellos, both getting the workshop attention they deserve. 👌🇮🇹

Started with a lightweight steel Holdsworth frameset and built it up into a complete bike. There’s something special about giving a quality steel frame a new lease of life ⚙️✅
