Apollo got a night out in Brighton yesterday. We parked up outside the Grand Hotel for the Platinum Business Christmas Party and it turned into a bit of a magnet.
People passing by stopped to chat, others hopped in for a look around, and we ended up having some really good conversations about the build and the story behind it.

It was a great evening, a brilliant atmosphere, and a nice chance to show Apollo off in the wild. Brighton never disappoints.

MEET BUTCH 🚐
This 25-year-old Swift Sundance (yep, Butch Sundance!) arrived at our West Sussex workshop with years of hidden water damage. The side was completely rotten - without repairs, it would’ve literally fallen out.
Her owner thought she was scrapyard-bound.
We thought differently.

Stripped back the rot, rebuilt the structure, sealed it up properly. Now she’s dry, secure, and ready for another 25 years on the road.

Bringing Butch Back to Life 🛠️🚐

Meet Butch. She’s a 25-year-old Swift Sundance who came into our Sussex workshop with what looked like a simple leak… but once we opened her up, we found the insulation soaked, the timber weakened and the passenger-side wall starting to fail.

Her owners only bought her just over a year ago for festivals and weekends away, and she’s already saved them a fortune compared to booking Airbnbs. So instead of replacing her, they chose the smarter option – rebuild her properly.

We’ve stripped her back to the frame, removed all the damaged material and we’re rebuilding that wall stronger than it ever was. We’re adding a new internal support frame so the seat no longer leans directly on the wall, stopping the flex and cracking that caused the water ingress in the first place.

While she’s here, we’re also getting her heating, hot water and electrics back to full health. She’s got plenty more years ahead of her.
