I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to make this wee gem - an herbal wreath. This wreath was made with sprigs of fresh and dried herbs: bay leaf, thyme, oregano, marjoram, rosemary , fennel, sage, lemon balm & rose hips. 💙🌱💙🌱💙

One man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure. Found amongst the rubble on Cape Clear Island. 💙

Memories of summer are starting to fade. The smell of sunshine on Omey. A wild apothecary on a tidal island. Wild thyme, lady’s bedstraw, clover, yarrow, ribwort plantain, nettle, self heal, comfrey, meadowsweet, hogweed, vetch, speedwell and cleavers. The Aladdin’s Cave for a foraging herbalist.

Such an exciting time of year when everything is waking up after a long winter sleep. Only a few months until the elder is in full bloom! “They passed roses and fresh beech trees, but the perfume of the elder tree was stronger than all, for its flowers hung round the little maiden's heart” 💜
