I Don't Need Any Lone Working Devices!!!
The above is what I have had from attendees on my training at times, however recently what I have had is clients asking me what type of lone working device would I select.
In this video of behind the scenes, I describe the differences of a standalone device and a mobile app, however more interesting is the challenges faced when selecting the right type of personal protection equipment for staff.

Do you understand the importance of having the right standard of Physical Security Staff?
I have been asked many times over the years to assess the security measures in many sectors because staff have been threatened or assaulted in incidents of workplace violence.
The problem I have faced from many departments is that they would rather focus on sales, whereas I come from the position of improving the reduction of loss and improving service from a security perspective, that will overall improve sales in the long-term.
If staff, customers/clients and guests alike feel that the environment they are entering is safe and secure, they will return. Furthermore, those who want to bring harm or even commit a crime, see that the security staff are professional and proactive they will avoid like the plague; (as my granny used to say).
Now is the time during these lockdowns or tiers to address/review your Physical Security and see if your current security measures are is providing that essential safe and secure environment for all.
Watch our short video on why for more information.
