🏏 As the season comes to an end this weekend, it’s only right that we take a look back at one of the highlights of the season…

The Odd Fellows Cup Final against Delph and Dobcross 🏆

We had the honour of hosting the final here at Upperthong, with a fantastic crowd turning out to support the team. It really was a special day for the club and a huge highlight for our talented Upperthong 1st XI.

Although we didn’t quite come away with the win, the team put up a mighty fight, narrowly losing by just 25 runs. 👏

A fantastic performance, a brilliant atmosphere and a day we’ll remember for a long time.

A huge well done to our 1st XI — what a season! ❤️💙🏏
And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the club, our teams and our players throughout the season. ❤️💙

This weekend the cricket season comes to an end! 😔 But we still have plenty going on! Tonight is our junior and ladies training, plus our end of season presentation evening for our U7 U9 U11 and U13 teams. Starting at 6pm as usual, and hot dogs will be served all evening 🌭 PLUS Open the Box returns tonight for its final time. Someone MUST win tonight and there is currently £650 up for grabs! 💰 Get your ticket for £2 tonight at the club. On Saturday our 1st team play their final game against Mirfield so come and support them from 12pm and enjoy a b**r and some cricket! 🏏🥂🍺

It’s a packed weekend at the club! Friday night training tonight, with hotdog and chips being served AND the return of Open the Box with £650 up for grabs!!! Saturday sees the 2nd team at home against Cumberworth CC (bar open all afternoon). And Saturday night is our Upperthong Grand National, I hope you’ve got your tickets! 🏇
