I used to genuinely think, “this is it for me now.”

That feeling of being wired and tired, constantly serving others, and wondering where I’d gone in the process. It’s a heavy place to be, especially when you feel like you should just be able to “cope.”

But what if you don’t have to cope alone?

What if you could drop the pattern of self-neglect and step into a second half of life that feels exciting, purposeful, and truly yours?

I found my way back to myself, and I want to show you how you can too. It’s about more than just managing symptoms. It’s about reclaiming your power and joy. ✨

I spent years convinced I was difficult when I was just exhausted from other people's bu****it.

For so long I told I was too sensitive.

I felt the need to apologise for having boundaries, needing rest. feeling anything that made someone else uncomfortable.

But my nervous system wasn't overreacting. It was screaming.

It was screaming because I was drowning in everyone else's expectations while mine sat quietly in the corner, waiting for permission that never came.

It was screaming because I was serving, solving, soothing, smoothing over, all day, every day, with nothing left for me.

It was screaming because every time I tried to speak up, I talked myself out of it. Every time I felt something true, I buried it under 'I'm fine'.

The moment I stopped apologising and started listening, everything shifted.

I wasn't difficult. I was depleted.

I wasn't too much. I was unregulated, unheard, and living in a body that had been on high alert for years.

When you regulate your nervous system, you stop mistaking exhaustion for personality.

You stop shrinking. You stop second-guessing. You stop carrying other people's comfort at the expense of your own.

You reclaim your energy, your clarity, your voice.

If this lands, follow for more on nervous system regulation, embodiment and reclaiming your power in midlife.

Your body isn't failing you.

It's screaming at you to stop.

But you've spent so long overriding your own signals that you've started labelling them as weakness. As laziness. As proof you're not coping as well as everyone else.

Here's what's really happening:

that headache that appears every time you open your laptop? Not stress you should push through. It's your nervous system trying to protect you from another day of giving more than you have.

The way you snap at the people you love most? Not evidence you're a terrible person. It's a boundary alert. Your body knows you've got nothing left to give, even if your mind hasn't caught up yet.

The exhaustion that no amount of sleep seems to fix? Not your age. Not menopause making you lazy. It's depletion. Real, physical depletion from years of putting everyone else first.

The tears that come from nowhere when someone asks if you're okay? Not weakness. It's your body finally finding a crack in the armour to tell you the truth.

The resistance you feel when someone suggests self-care? Not selfishness. It's years of conditioning that taught you your needs don't matter as much as everyone else's.

You're not broken.

You're burnt out.

And burnout doesn't get better by trying harder. It gets better when you learn to hear what your body has been trying to tell you all along.

Save this if you needed the reminder that listening to your body isn't giving up. It's waking up.

Every September it starts. New planners, new supplements, new 5am alarms — all of it chasing the energy we think we lost over summer.

But here's what I've noticed in years of working with midlife women: the ones who feel most alive in autumn aren't the ones doing more. They're the ones who stopped fighting the season.

If you're ready to stop pushing and start restoring, Renewed You is where that begins — 12 weeks, a small circle of women, and a way of rebuilding your energy from the roots up. The autumn cohort starts 30 September and spaces are limited.

Everything this week has been building to this: Renewed You opens today.

This is for the woman who's spent this week nodding along — to the nervous system stuff, the resilience stuff, the four pillars — and is ready to actually do the work instead of just understanding it. Twelve weeks, together, no more white-knuckling it alone.

Ready? DM me READY and I'll send you everything you need to join us.

Is this serving me? Not is it fine, not is it what everyone else does — is it actually serving you.

Ask it about a commitment, a relationship, a habit, a thought you can't put down.

This is real work we do together in Renewed You. Doors open tomorrow — I'll share exactly how to join us.

What came up when you asked yourself?

Ready to stop carrying what isn't serving you? Renewed You opens tomorrow — head to the link in bio now to get on the list, and you'll be the first I tell the moment the doors open.

Your body has been talking to you for years. You've just been trained to ignore it.

The shoulders. The knees. The stomach that's permanently in knots. None of it is random, and none of it is you being dramatic. It's information — and midlife is when it stops whispering and starts shouting.

Learning to listen is the whole first step. Actually changing what your body's been asking for? That's what we do inside Renewed You. Twelve weeks, one woman at a time, no more shutting it up and carrying on.

Comment the word your body gave you today — I want to know. And if that word hit harder than you expected, the link in bio will take you to Renewed You.

Nobody ever taught us that boundaries are a practice, not a personality trait. So we wait until we're at breaking point, then try to set the biggest one of all — and wonder why it falls apart.

Here's what actually works: start small. Ridiculously small. The kind of "no" that doesn't need a speech, an apology, or anyone's permission but yours.

One this week. That's it. Let it be easy, and let it count.

Ready for the full method? Tap the link in bio and read "How to Set Boundaries in Perimenopause Without the Guilt" on the blog. It's a five-minute read, and it'll show you why the guilt gets louder in perimenopause — and exactly how to set your first boundary anyway.

Then come back and tell me in the comments: what's your small "no" this week?

11/09/2026

Better the devil you know. So we stay.

In the pattern that's exhausting us. In the life that stopped fitting. Because at least it's familiar.

But familiar isn't the same as good. We just told ourselves it was.

The fear doesn't mean you're doing it wrong. It means you're finally doing something that matters.

Every woman who ever made a real change was terrified. She moved anyway. And on the other side — every single time — she wondered why she waited so long.

Change isn't the danger. Staying small to avoid it is.

Feel the fear. Go anyway. 🍂

Renewed You is where women learn to move while afraid. Link in bio.

Saying no shouldn't feel like a fight. In perimenopause, it often does — and it's not because you've gone soft. It's because the buffer that let you swallow it is thinning out.

And honestly? Good. Pushing through was never meant to be a permanent setting.

The guilt you feel isn't proof you're doing something wrong. It's just an old alarm, and it's due for a reset.

Boundaries won't make you cold. They'll make your "yes" mean something again.

Swipe through, then head to the link in bio — the full blog post, "How to Set Boundaries in Perimenopause Without the Guilt," is live now, and the free Ground & Rise guide is right there with it. Read it today, practise one small "no" this week.
