I’m really pleased to announce a new project for 2027 based at Bagshaw Museum called Tannin: Adventures into the dark. These workshops offer an opportunity to join me during 2027 on a journey into understanding how tannin can be used in combination with iron to create a range of dark and leaden shades. We will investigate, experiment and explore the wide range of uses for tannin including dyeing fabrics and clothing, different styles of printing and also using it to create ink to draw and print. Participants can join for just one, several or even all of the workshops to find out the range of diverse uses for tannin as a means of creating colour, dyed textiles and art. Lots of fun with Museum Meet-up!

What a creative day at Temple Newsam Estate, with Adopteens (PAC-UK) families and young people. They worked together to create an amazing paper patchwork showing a tree and it's roots, along with lots of wild creatures. We had hoped to display the finished mosaic outside, but the wind was far too strong so instead we had an amazing roof top tour followed by a chance to view the mosaic indoors, away from the wind :)
