Essex champion of the 12s girls at the Essex closed was impressive last year, but to turn up again and win it back to back and bring the trophy home again is even better. Many players will never win a grade 3. Let alone the Essex closed , let alone back to back. ..
She went on to the win the doubles too with partner Florence.
What a week Sophia. Keep pushing on.

🌹ROYS FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS 🌹
Roy's funeral will be held on Tuesday 11th August at 12pm at Southend crematorium, then back to Hockley LTC in Folly Lane. Parking is limited so please use Hockley Woods.
Rather than flowers, the family have requested a donation be made to either the British Heart Foundation or the Dogs Trust, should you wish to make one.
Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

What a start to summer. 3 of our top juniors competed in Stellisons. All 3 got the finals. A great battle for SophiaT and .tennis12 Lexi in the final going to a third set decider.
A great semi final win for Giorgio Butler Giorgio to who came runner up in the final.
Well done Hockley. Keep smashing it up.

Massive well done to both Hockleys juniors who won the boys and girls Rayleigh schools tournament. Freya and Ollie brought the trophies back winning all their matches!
