Whilst there is nuance to most things fitness, wellness and nutrition, in the majority of cases hacks, tricks and shortcuts are just pretty much rubbish. Marketing BS at its best.
Sorry. Not sorry.
There is a huge amount of detail that goes into nutrition, but the basics are the basics and need to be in place.
Besides, don’t separate me from my coffee ok?!

I’ve been guilty of this myself.
Years ago, I was tracking everything. Macros dialled in, calories on point, “doing it right” by every metric that gets talked about online. And I still felt exhausted. Foggy. Wired but tired, all the time.
I put it down to stress, to just getting older, to not sleeping enough.
It took years - and an eventual autoimmune thyroid diagnosis - to understand that hitting your macros and actually nourishing your body are not automatically the same thing.
200 calories of porridge oats and 200 calories of a pastry can look similar on a tracking app. They do nothing alike once they’re inside you.
And in a calorie deficit especially, the nutrients that quietly go missing - iron, magnesium, B12, vitamin D, and plenty more beneath the surface - are the ones running your energy, your sleep, your mood, and your hormones.
This isn’t about “eating clean” or moralising food. It’s about nutrient density: getting more of what your body actually needs from the calories you’ve got.
I wish someone had explained this to me sooner. So I’m explaining it to you now.
Ready to actually understand what your body needs - not just guess? Send me “UNDERSTAND” and let’s talk.

You might roll your eyes at the disciplined woman eating the same breakfast every day, following the same routine, same gym days, same everything.
But go one year without that consistency and you’re having the same conversation with yourself next summer. Avoiding the same photos. Reaching for the same “forgiving” outfit. Same “I’ll sort it after summer” you said last year.
Discipline towards your goals might feel boring day to day. Progressing towards them never gets old.

Not rules. Reminders - the ones I find myself repeating to clients on loop, because once your body starts changing on you (hormones shifting, recovery slowing, patience running thin) these are what actually keep you on track, and keep you from falling face first into faddy rubbish.
Change requires change. If nothing on this list feels new… the question isn’t whether you know it. It’s whether you’re actually doing it?

“Just eat intuitively” is the advice everyone gives and almost no one can actually follow - if they’ve spent 20 years dieting first.
Here’s what nobody tells you: most women who eat “intuitively” successfully aren’t doing that at all. They’re tracking - in their heads, automatically - after years of doing it properly first. That’s not intuition. That’s fluency.
Tracking isn’t a punishment. It’s a skill, same as knowing your bank balance or how much fuel is in your car. Nobody’s ashamed of being informed about those things.
If you haven’t done the work yet, you’re not ready to skip it. You’re being sold the finish line as a starting point.
Effort without direction does not equal results.
