Our Beginner Ballet classes are the perfect introduction for young dancers who love to move, imagine, and express themselves through dance.

We are so excited for Rebecca French to be joining the UK tour cast of ‘Back To The Future Musical ‘FANS’, Rebecca is also cover for ‘Marty’s Mum’.

Rebecca started her journey into the musical theatre world at Rochelle where she trained in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz and Musical Theatre.

Boogie Bugs classes, Saturday 9.15am-10.00am from age 2 years, take place at our Hinckley Studios.

Story time, warm up to songs and dances exclusive to Rochelle, learning the basic foundations of dance, make friends and above have fun in a safe and secure environment.

Parents/guardians are welcome to come into class with their little ones when first starting, but once they are settled these classes are independent. We have plenty of helpers so you can be sure your little one will be well cared for.

We currently have a small waiting list for this class, please contact the office for more information to secure your child’s place.

Good luck at Ballet Theatre UK, Jacob!

I’ve been coming to the Rochelle studio under the light of my older sister since I was born, however didn’t start taking my own classes until I was 4, starting with commercial funk and modern jazz. Over the years these classes taught me lessons of strength, teamwork, and ignited my true passion for dancing from a young age. It was from there that I decided to start ballet, and, as time went on, my confidence grew under the wings of Miss Kaye, Miss Jessica, Miss Debbie and Miss Lisa. In September, I will be starting a 3 year journey with The School Of Ballet Theatre UK on their BA Hons course, and will study classical ballet, contemporary dance and jazz. All my thanks goes to my Rochelle teachers for supporting me and assisting me in my journey to where I am today, I wouldn’t be here without them, and I will always be eternally grateful.

Good luck at Performers College, Holly!

I’ve been attending classes with Miss Kaye at Rochelle since I was 3 years old. It has been such an important part of my journey, helping me grow in both my technique and confidence and nurturing my love of dance from a very young age. In September, I’ll be moving to Brighton to study Musical Theatre at Performers College. I’m so excited to begin this next chapter, where I’ll be training in acting, singing and dance and working towards a career in the performing arts!

Good luck at Mountview, Henry!

I started dancing at 11 years of age. I trained in IDTA ballet, tap, modern, acro and commercial. During my time at Rochelle I have taken many exams and performed in 3 school shows. Miss Kaye and The Rochelle Team have played a massive part in my child and teenage years and words cannot describe the gratitude I have for each and every one of them. I then completed a BTEC in performing arts at The Leicester College of Performing Arts while continuing my training at Rochelle. I am now looking forward to commencing my professional training at The Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts to continue to chase my dreams, follow my heart as a dancer and hopefully become an artist in this wonderful industry.

Do you fancy a new challenge?

Miss Lisa's Commercial Jazz class is a must for high energy and fun, suitable for age 14+.

Training at Rochelle and later working with TV choreographer Brian Rogers and with Nicky Hinckley, Miss Lisa has performed with many artists including Pantomimes and Summer Seasons with Cilla Black, Les Dawson, Freddie Starr and Little and Large. Miss Lisa also produces and choreographs the Concordia Theatre’s amateur operatic society ‘AOS’ musical shows.

Why not join her on Monday evenings 8-9pm!
