What a fantastic night celebrating another season at Huntspill & District Cricket Club! 💙

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our End of Season Party last night. It was brilliant to see so many players, families, volunteers and supporters coming together to celebrate the season and everything that makes our club so special!

A huge thank you to the incredible Somewhere in London for providing the live music. You were absolutely brilliant and helped make it such a fantastic night! 🎸🎤

Finally, congratulations to all our award winners across our youth, men's and women's teams. Every award was thoroughly deserved, and it was great to recognise so many achievements from throughout the season.

A special congratulations to our league-winning Girls' teams! 🏆👏 What a fantastic achievement and something the whole club can be incredibly proud of!

Thank you again to everyone who has played a part in the 2026 season, both on and off the field. Here's to an even better 2027!

Tonight’s the night! We’re looking forward to bringing the whole Huntspill & District Cricket Club family together to celebrate the 2026 season.

📅 Saturday 19th September
📍 Lakeside Holiday Park
⏰ Arrive from 7pm

The evening will include our Youth and Adult Awards, food, a raffle, & live music from Somewhere in London!

It promises to be a brilliant evening celebrating the achievements of our players, teams and volunteers. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

🏏 TOMORROW – CLUB FESTIVAL DAY! 💙

Just a final reminder that tomorrow is our Club Festival Day, as we welcome Croesyceiliog CC for one last big day of cricket this summer! 🙌

We’ve got three games across the day, involving our Men’s, Youth and Women’s sections, plus the outdoor bar, BBQ and ice creams running alongside it. 🍺🍔🍦

It would be brilliant to see as many members, players, juniors, parents, families, friends and supporters down at the club as possible.

And you absolutely don’t need to be there all day — even if you can only pop down for an hour, have a pint, grab a burger and watch a bit of cricket, your support would be hugely appreciated. 💙

Days like this are about much more than the cricket. It’s about getting everyone together, supporting all sections of the club and creating a great atmosphere around the ground.

So whether you’re playing, watching, helping out or simply fancy a drink and something from the BBQ, come down and join us!

💙🏏 THE SEASON’S NOT QUITE OVER YET! 🏏💙

After one of the hottest and driest summers we can remember, there was perhaps a touch of irony that the final weekend of the league season was washed out! 🌧️

The heavy rain meant both our 1st XI and Women’s fixtures were cancelled, bringing the competitive league season to a rather soggy end!

But thankfully, there’s still one more big cricket day to come at the War Memorial Ground! 🙌

🎪 CLUB FESTIVAL DAY
📅 Saturday 5th September
🤝 Welcoming Croesyceiliog Cricket Club

🏏 10am – Men’s T20
🏏 1pm (ish) – Youth Pairs Game
🏏 4pm (ish) – Women’s T20

And it’s much more than just the cricket…

🍺 Outdoor Bar – Brue L***r & Rich’s Golden Harvest C***r
🔥 BBQ – burgers, hotdogs, halloumi burgers & chips
🥓 Bacon rolls from the morning until 11am
🍦 Ice creams

We’d love to see all our members, players, juniors, parents, families, friends and supporters at the club throughout the day.

After another long summer of cricket, it’s a chance to get everyone together, enjoy a drink and some food, support all sections of the club and celebrate the end of the summer as one club. 💙

Whether you can stay all day or just pop down for an hour or two, come and join us and help create a brilliant atmosphere to finish the summer!
