🏉 RUGBY IS BACK! – SEASON UPDATE 🏉

A quick update as we get ready for the new season…

🏉 Senior Fixtures - Due to the exceptionally hard ground, the start of our league fixtures has been postponed. Our games will now get underway from Saturday 26th September.

👦👧 Mini & Junior Rugby - Training will start as planned on Sunday 6th September. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

🎉 BACK TO RUGBY BASH – SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER - Everyone is invited to join us at the club from 12pm for a great day and evening!

🏉 Huge News for High Wycombe Rugby Club 🏉

We are incredibly proud that four of our standout Girls players have been selected for the prestigious Henley ACE Academy squad to face Oaklands ACE Academy in this afternoon match at Aylesbury rugby club, if you’re at a lose end do come along and support, kick off is at 1pm 👏

The England Rugby ACE league is the premier college and school competition for under 18 girls. The programme at Henley is linked with Saracens.

Our four girls, all under 17s, have had a good pre-season with Henley, competing against under 18 team members for selection, a significant milestone showcasing the talent at HW.

Veronica joined Wycombe Rugby Club aged 9, playing fly half and centre, representing Bucks PDG for 2 years and has been invited to England PDG trials.

Amber, started her rugby journey in year 9, as full back she quickly became a leading scorer for High Wycombe and Bucks PDG. She has also been invited to trial for England PDG.

Beatrice joined Wycombe Rugby Club aged 12, and is a strong tackling flanker who has captained both Wycombe and the Bucks PDG team.

Since taking up rugby in Year 9 at High Wycombe, Melina has made rapid progress with Bucks PDG and has also earned England PDG trials.

🏉 FROM HWRUFC U6s TO NORTHAMPTON SAINTS U18s 🟢⚪️⚫️

There are some moments that make you incredibly proud as a rugby club… and this is certainly one of them

James Peasley started his rugby journey with High Wycombe Rugby Club all the way back at U6s and now finds himself taking to the field for Saints U18s 🟢🟡⚫

Having played in a tournament last week for Saints U17s against Scarlets, Harlequins and Gloucester, this week James has been called up to play for the Saints U18 team which saw them beat Gloucester 50-38 today 👏

🌱 Every journey has to start somewhere.
