XPSC English Nationals 2026 — Match Directors Closing Statement 🫡
And just like that… XPSC English Nationals 2026 is done.
Congratulations to all participants!
I hope everyone enjoyed the match, stages and their time with XPSC.
This match has been over five years in the making. Ever since our Level 2 in Wi******er, we’ve wanted to go bigger, better, and create something we could genuinely be proud of.
Standing here at the end of it all, (a bit broken I’ll admit)
I think we can safely say we bloody did it.
But none of this could have happened without the people behind it.
To every competitor who came, competed, laughed, sweated, pushed themselves and trusted us to put on the match, thank you.
You are the reason we do this.

A special thank you to my bette half Sophia, for putting up with my stressy antics and the chaos of the last few weeks. Your understanding and support has meant more than you probably realise.
To my Mum Fiona, our incredible caterer, supplier of snacks, drinks and general sanity. Thank you for putting up with XPSC taking over your garden, your house and seemingly every available bit of space.
You’ve supported this from the very beginning, and we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️

Your time, knowledge, tools, hard work and sheer dedication have been a massive part of getting us here.
From collecting kit, building stages, fixing things, moving things, solving problems and simply getting stuck in whenever something needed doing, you’ve been there for every part of it.
We’ve talked about putting on a match like this for years.
We planned it. We dreamed about it.
And Dad…
We’ve finally bloody done it.
You should be proud.
Because I sure as hell am.
