Our feature race on Saturday 10th October is The Cast Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase, it offers a great opportunity for young horses to start their chasing career.

Last year two Northern horses ran in the race and went on to have fantastic seasons…

Chasingouttheblues finished a staying on third, he went on to win the Go North Red Rum Series Final at Carlisle, before finishing a close-up fifth in the Scottish Grand National, a run full of promise.

King Of Answers finished fifth in the race and went on to have a productive season which culminated in finishing second in the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

We look forward to seeing what this year’s race brings! 🏇
