Hull riders were on top form to take home the majority of the trophies from Saturday’s Yorkshire League Individual Finals at Heckmondwike. Alexis Woodcock won the under 10’s event from closest rival Stanley Russon of Sheffield while Jayden Bennett was unbeaten to take the under 13 title from team mate Parker Galloway in second place.
The open meeting was won in fine style with a maximum from Hull’s Jack Lister with Nathan Everett losing only to Jack, and Harry Gibson beating Jason Keith in a run-off for third place to complete a clean sweep for Hull riders. Noah Lyon finished just outside the podium places with 15 points. Harry Gibson won the under 16’s section from Heckmondwike’s Elliot Long while Jason Keith rode well to take the veteran’s 55+ title with Heckmondwike’s Darren Kent runner-up.
