Can i be honest???
As a home educating family of some 14 years and counting I have seen a HUGE increase in 'home ed/schooling' offerings aimed at meeting some curriculum based syllabus.....
For swimming this looks like 'meet your PE curriculum' but... most of us came to home education because that does not work for our children...... and this is where home educating families offering home education sessions really understand your needs!
We don't see PE we see English (language skills, social skills, learning new vocabulary and so on...) Maths (counting lengths, learning times and watching the clock, counting strokes and reducing the number - i could actually go on for hours here)
Science (flotation, buoyancy, chemical systems, water properties - again huge passion!) and FUN - learning is FUN and that is why a lot of us came to home education. We recognised that learning for the sake of learning can be BORING - so i won't turn swimming lessons into something of a curriculum and, if youve experienced our lessons (especially the home ed ones) you will already know this and i would love your feedback and support in sharing them!
Oh and small groups! Our home educated children get to learn in smaller groups and we love that rather than a class of 30 children :) Please contact me to ask about our Monday, Wednesday and Thursday daytime home ed lessons - which we also subsidise the cost of (around £5 per lesson less than our mainstream lessons, which are still great value!) because you know what else home edding families understand - home educating our children is expensive!
