MRHC GOALIE RECRUITMENT – JOIN OUR CREW!
We’re looking for new goalies across all age groups — and if your child wants a position where they’re truly valued, supported and celebrated, this is the role for them.
Goalies are one of the most important players on the rink.
They’re the last line of defence, the backbone of the team, and every single player looks after them. At MRHC, our goalies are supported, encouraged and treated with huge respect — because without a goalie, we don’t have a team.

If your child wants to try goaling, come down for 6pm at Middlesbrough Sports Village.
Your first 3 sessions are free, and all goalie equipment can be loaned initially, including pads, gloves, helmet and stick.

Just bring/wear:
shorts
t‑shirt
long socks
a water bottle
and if possible, a long‑leg and long‑arm base layer (recommended to stop protective gear rubbing)

We’ll guide them through everything step‑by‑step and make sure they feel confident and supported.

​We are incredibly proud of the dedication, focus, and hard work you’ve shown over the past year. We know you give your all on the rink, and we know you’ve done the same in your studies.
​Remember: these results are a milestone on your journey, but they do not define you. Your hard work has given you a foundation, and you are capable of achieving anything you put your mind to.

MRHC Recruitment – New Season Starts Wed 9th Sept!
Our regular training sessions start again on Wednesday 9th September, and we’re excited to welcome new starters into the club!
If you’re thinking about giving roller hockey a try, come down for 6pm and meet the team.
We train at Middlesbrough Sports Village.
Your first 3 sessions are free — a perfect chance to see what it’s all about. After that, we’ll chat with you about joining the club and registering with England Roller Hockey.
All equipment can be loaned at the start, so you don’t need to buy anything.
Just bring/wear:
shorts
t‑shirt
long socks ( sometimes 2 pairs are needed.)
a water bottle
…and we’ll support you through the rest!

🌍🇳🇱 RHC Middlesbrough Heading to Eindhoven for Prestigious European Tournament! 🇳🇱🌍
​We are absolutely thrilled to share a massive announcement from our club president and proud coach, Nichola Harbisher!
​Our Middlesbrough Female Prem Team is preparing for an amazing journey in just 4 weeks. Check out this heartfelt message from Nichola: "It was with great pride that last year our Middlesbrough Female Prem Team were invited to go and take part in this European competition. The fact that it is now only 4 weeks away and then our ladies will be making the trip to Eindhoven to represent the club is an amazing achievement and testament to their skill and determination."

​Our ladies will be competing in the International Jubilee Tournament 2026, hosted by RC de Lichtstad in Eindhoven, Netherlands!
This incredible event is part of their 70th Anniversary celebrations, and our hosts have shared this amazing welcome message:
