The club has gone from strength to strength each season and we have 3 senior teams in the Worcestershire and Herefordshire cricket leagues, all playing to a good standard. Out first team play in division 3 of the Worcestershire league along with our second team playing in division 7. Our third play in the Herefordshire marches league and currently play in division 3. A brilliant day at the club for our first ever Two-Ball Cricket Day, bringing together players from our 3rd & 4th XIs, Women’s Softball Team and juniors for two very competitive T20s!

With mixed teams, father-and-son combinations, some creative rules and a strict ‘no complaining’ policy 😂, the games couldn’t have been much closer.

🏏 Game 1: Team 1 won by 2 runs
🏏 Game 2: Team 2 won by 1 run off the final ball!

Most importantly, it was a fantastic club day — competitive, inclusive and played with plenty of laughs and brilliant spirit.

Thanks to everyone who played, helped out and supplied the all-important tea and cake! 🍰☕️

Hopefully the first of many Two-Ball Cricket Days!

As we continue to grow at Bartestree & Lugwardine CC, we’d love to help more people take their first steps into cricket coaching.

Whether you’re a parent, current player, former player or simply someone who would like to get more involved, becoming a qualified coach is a brilliant way to support the club and help develop the next generation of cricketers.

There are a number of courses available this autumn through Worcestershire Cricket Foundation and Herefordshire Cricket, including opportunities for those completely new to coaching as well as existing coaches looking to develop further.

You don’t need to have coached before — if you’re interested, have a chat with us and we can help point you in the right direction.

A massive thanks to all who came to our Sponsors Day and Bartestree Sixes yesterday. A fantastic event thanking sponsors and enjoying our 6-a-side tournament.
Thanks too all of the hard working committee who organised the event and to everyone who made it a fantastic day.
This included the unveiling of “The Shore Shack” by Barbara Shore, a fitting tribute to Nigel Shore - our former chairman who passed away last year.
