The Wales Wheelchair Rugby League side had a 10k sponsorship for the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup in Australia but sadly, they pulled out.

With little time to renegotiate, the fundraising organiser has come up with an idea, Can 10,000 people pay £1 each?

This is where the world comes in. We need this to go viral. Can you donate £1 please to help and then, send in all of your groups asking people to do the same?

10,000 x £1 = CYMRU @ IRL Wheelchair World Cup Cymru rise up, back our Wales Rugby League (WRL) Wheelchair team. We lost our World Cup shirt sponsor so need 10k Welsh fans to donate £1!

SIR BILLY BOSTON - (1934–2026)

The sport of Rugby League has lost a Legend of the sport.

Sir Billy Boston was a legendary Welsh rugby league winger widely regarded as one of the best players in the sport’s history.

The Welsh winger spent his career scoring tries for fun at Wigan and was the first black player to represent and tour with Great Britain in 1954!

He was also the first rugby league player to receive a Knighthood.
