Great result for the first team who were missing a few players but still put together a great performance to bring the 3 points home

Special moment to see two 16 year olds making their senior debuts for the first team. Alfie Townsend getting on the scoresheet, and Jaiden Jarvis making a real impact on his debut. Two players who will get lots of opportunities this season.

We are delighted to share that Belmont Wanderers FC has been shortlisted in this year’s Hereford Times Community Awards in the category of:

🏆 Sports Team, Club or Group Award

This is a proud moment for everyone connected with the club.

Belmont Wanderers is so much more than just football. We are players, coaches, parents, volunteers, supporters, families and friends all working together to create something positive for our community.

Over the last year, we have seen success across so many teams, continued growth across boys’, girls’, men’s and women’s football, the strengthening of our senior pathways, the opening of our new 3G pitch, and huge progress on the Southside Project and new clubhouse.

None of this happens without the people behind the scenes. Our coaches, volunteers, committee members, parents, sponsors and supporters give so much time, energy and commitment to make the club what it is.

To be shortlisted for a community award means a lot because community is exactly what Belmont Wanderers FC is built on.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in our journey so far. This recognition belongs to the whole club.
