Here we go again…River Run Number 4. The Monnow in a day, Sat September 19th.
It’s a run about soil ‘Run Off’, which we know is a factor in the river flow and flooding that can and last November did result in the awful flooding in Monmouth.
As ever, let’s talk about those issues, however difficult they may well be. Let’s hope the legs make it.
Oh we have a new Instagram account to follow too if you’re interested

Hello Runner Lovers - Joe here, runner and host of Book Social Herefordshire - next month we have the brilliant Natalie Ann Holborow and her incredible book Wild Running - it’s a truly inspiring read, with not only great runs to follow but also great insights into all the issues that running presents, including safety for girls.
So, please spread the word and let others know,
And hope to see you at The Pavilion at Castle Green on Wednesday 18th March

Hello all…
Been a while but we’re back, be it with a new name ‘Dying Rivers Society’, trying as before to highlight the state of our waterways and add a little noise to getting them back to how they should be 💪
Our next run will be the River Wye’s main feeder river the wonderfully wandering River Lugg.
Often overlooked but full of might and beauty, we again plan to run from its source and to where it meets the Wye at
There’s lots to explore on this issue and as ever much to learn. We are aware there is also lots in place to try and improve the catchment and as ever we welcome all this. Our role is to add to this community with our legs!!
As always we welcome your support to share and learn with us about the catchment.
