What does our Wild Swim & Pilates weekend in Snowdonia look like?

Some Pilates, a bit of swimming, stunning walks, great food, lots of tea & cake. A pub trip, lots of laughter & many mini adventures squeezed into one weekend!

We’re not particularly serious about any of it 😂 You don’t need to be an experienced wild swimmer or have done Pilates before. We want these weekends to feel approachable, fun and like you’re exploring some of our favourite places with a group of lovely people.

Our next weekend is
18th-20th September in Eryri (Snowdonia)

Come alone or bring a friend, either way, you will have a great time 😊

Always available to answer any questions 🙋🏻‍♀️

Monday morning mat Pilates at our new venue ☺️

10 - 11am at the Scouts Hut on Eign Road, Hereford. Free parking onsite. Equipment provided, but please a mat.

Join us for our welcoming, friendly class with a focus on helping you move better, feel stronger, improve posture, build core strength, and support your long-term mobility and confidence.

We work on healthy hips, shoulders and spine, with a mix of strength, mobility, balance, flexibility and resistance-based movement.

August is a lovely time to come and try a class while things are generally a little quieter over the summer.

New faces are very welcome.

First class is £10 to try.
After that, you can either buy a 5-class pack for £50, to use within 8 weeks, or book a drop-in class for £12, space depending.

Book via Gymcatch / link in bio / drop me a message if unsure ☺️

A little video from Monday evening’s first practice back after the Deadly Gross & my body was tight!

A little practice between classes and the Control Balance & Jackknife were even more difficult than usual! P.s. you are unlikely to see these in most of my classes unless you’ve been working with my for quite a while…
My poor hamstrings, quads…calves 😂

But it’s okay! We’re not here for perfection. We’re here for practice. & Pilates supports us day to day as well as complimenting our other sports/hobbies, whether it’s weightlifting, running, cycling, gardening & everything in between ☺️. That’s why we LOVE it! 😍

Some days we feel strong & flexible.
Some days feel tight & tired.

We meet our body where it’s at. Every time.

When people hear the word Pilates, they often think of exercises—and I understand why.

Exercises are the visible part of the method.

But after nearly three decades of teaching, I have come to see them differently.

The exercises are not the destination—they are the vehicle.

Every exercise is an opportunity to practice a skill:
- how to support the spine
- stabilize the pelvis
- organize the shoulders
- improve mobility
- develop strength
- coordinate movement
- become more aware of how the body works.

Those skills do not stay in the studio—they follow us into our daily lives.

They influence how we walk, bend, reach, lift, balance, and move through the world.

That is why I view Pilates as much more than a workout.

To me, it is a movement practice designed to help people remain physically capable for as long as possible.
