Hello August!

We might be starting to prepare for Autumn behind the scenes, but we’re definitely not finished with summer yet.

This month we’re making the most of long evenings, outdoor living, and two seasonal favourites: our Summer candle and Alfresco candles, created for those lovely evenings spent outdoors. 🌿

Meanwhile, we’re busy restocking the shelves and quietly getting ready for all things Autumn. 🍂

But not just yet… there’s still plenty of summer to enjoy!

🌿 We’ve been a little quiet…

Life has thrown a few unexpected health challenges our way recently, while behind the scenes we’ve also been busy getting ready to move Wye Wicks into its new home.

Something had to give for a little while — and unfortunately our emails and socials drew the short straw!

But we’re still here, making, packing, and gradually restocking your favourites. And it feels rather lovely to be back. 💚

What an incredible three days at ✨

We’ve absolutely loved being back at the castle, and seeing so many customers, both new and old. Thank you for all the love and support. We’re genuinely so grateful 🤍

We were also thrilled (and slightly overwhelmed in the best way!) to sell out of so many products and after a couple of days off to recuperate, we’re now busy restocking and getting everything ready again.

A huge thank you to the for putting on such a fantastic event and for making us feel so welcome once again. It’s always an honour to be part of it.

And huge congratulations to .and.oak and who appeared on last night! We were so proud to see our little town showcased in the best possible way. And … if you looked closely you might have spotted our candles in .and.oak!

The sun is shining, is in full swing, and you can find us at with some amazing local makers. There's food, music, and over 20 craft stalls to browse. If you're in Hay, pop along and say hello.

We’ve been a little quiet here lately… and we wanted to say hello again. 🌿

Over the past few months we’ve taken a step back from social media while focusing our energy where it mattered most — making your candles, blending essential oils and fulfilling every order with the same care and attention as always.

Running a small independent business means sometimes the behind-the-scenes work takes priority, and while our hands have been busy pouring candles and creating beautiful new products, our social channels have been a little quieter than usual.

But something exciting has been happening in the Wye Wicks studio…

✨ A special collaboration with one of our favourite stockists is coming soon
✨ And we’re preparing to introduce something completely new that has never brought to market in the U.K. before
