Where did the summer go? 🫡
What a brilliant season it’s been! 🙌🏻
So what successes has the club seen?
🙌🏻New members have joined ✅
🙌🏻We provided Coaching to develop & improve bowls skills ✅
🙌🏻Opened Monday session, to welcome newbies✅
🙌🏻Entered lots more competitions ✅
🙌🏻Created a community ✅
🙌🏻Bowls drives have been well supported✅
🙌🏻A local club closed, so we welcomed them into our club, they have become part of the Hemingbrough Community ✅
🙌🏻Wednesday Pairs team got promoted ✅
🙌🏻Supported a local adult lodge to allow them to try the sport ✅
🙌🏻Had more helpers than ever ✅
🙌🏻We have our own bowls shirt designed and printed so we have our own identity✅
What could we do in 2027? 🤔
Who said lawn bowls wasn’t a growing sport! We’ve def bucked the trend! 🍾
Hemingbrough Bowls Club closes for the winter post from 6th September, however we keep our bowls community in touch with each other, through our fund raising events - Cuppa, Cake & Catch Up at the Cliffe Institute on the A63…..drop in, there’s a fab raffle too!
*10th October 1.00pm to 3.00pm
*21st November 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Come along, chat to members and have a cuppa & delicious cake ☕️🫖🍰🧁🥧…..You’ll be made most welcome.
