🏃🏽‍♀️🚲 THE AUGUST CHALLENGE RESULTS ARE IN! 🚲🏃🏽‍♀️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took part in this year’s August Challenge! 👏🏼

What an incredible effort! Between just 14 of us, we clocked up a whopping 2,269.66km — smashing last year’s total of 1,640.63km, which was achieved by 16 participants! 🤩

So… 2,500km next year?! 👀 We reckon we can do it! 💪🏼

A HUGE 308.66km! 🤩👏🏼

🥈 SECOND PLACE — Mel
An amazing 295.6km! 👏🏼

🥉 THIRD PLACE — Rachel
A brilliant 288.3km! 👏🏼

And of course, a massive well done to everyone who got involved — every kilometre counted! 💜

A great week at Camelot with all four teams taking to the courts ❤️🏐

⚔️ First up was Knights with the early morning game taking the win 56-31 🏆
A strong start set the tone, with Camelot taking control early and continuing to build the lead throughout the game. The attacking unit worked brilliantly together, creating plenty of opportunities in the circle, while fantastic defensive pressure made it difficult for Connexions Lightning to find their rhythm.

⭐️ MVP: Chloe for her insane movement in the circle and impressive attacking intercepts.

🐉 Next up Dragons who came away with a smashing win 🏆

Massive shoutout to both defence and attack who absolutely bossed both sides of the court 💪 and a big shoutout to Flo getting MVP ⭐️ after some absolutely fab intercepts in the D!!

🃏 Jesters up next with a real nail-biter, taking the win but kept on our toes throughout the game.

Huge well done to everyone, especially Lexi and Sarah for battling hard against some very tall circle defence, and thanks to Georgia for stepping in.

Our fitness and energy really helped us today, with some fantastic chasing down of loose balls and interceptions. Dani was everywhere and thoroughly deserved MVP! 👏

👑 A well earned point for Ladies on the late game today! First game of the season vs Whippets Pink - only 4 of the team available so it took us a little bit to get back into a) our new Season and b) the new combinations on court!

This game was all about our defence though! 🔥🔥 Emma H and Florence dominated the opposition’s shooting circle and put some incredible pressure on a shooting duo who have played together for a long time! Well deserved joint MVP for these two today 🙌🏻🔥🔥

Hawks played a nail-biter of a match for their first game of the season, newly promoted to Division 1 against Whippets Purple.

We went down in the first quarter by 3, clawed it back with a one goal win in the 2nd and 3rd but couldn’t quite get that last goal to seal the win, ending with a 24-24 draw!

Shout out to MVP Tash 🌟 and also the whole team for such great defensive pressure throughout the court! 🔥

A flying start to the season for Camelot today 😮‍💨🔥

🐉 Dragons grabbed a great win, showing some great movement across the court. Two players made their Camelot debut and played some really strong, cohesive netball. Georgia got MVP for her shooting, stealing many rebounds!

A real battle from start to finish, with both teams fighting hard for every goal. It went right down to the wire, but we kept our heads, stayed composed and fought until the final whistle to take the win 43–42! 💪🏼
A huge team effort and so proud of everyone for digging deep and never giving up, especially when the pressure was on.

Join us for our club-wide challenge to run, walk or jog throughout August and help us reach our target, while raising funds for the club and our new kit. It’s the perfect way to stay motivated, build your fitness and get ready for the new season together! ❤️🖤

We’ll be sharing everyone’s combined total at the end of each week so we can watch those kilometres add up. Plus, don’t forget to check out the poster for our special awards – with prizes up for grabs! 🏅

It’s been a full week for Camelot this week!🏐

Last weekend Knights had a great game against top of the table Connexions. A great fight but a 58-40 loss. Well done to Liz for MVP!👏🏼

Ladies had a fantastic game which saw Fay back from injury for the first time!🤩 and what a great game to come back to with a 56-22 win. Well done to Lisa for MVP!💪🏼

Dragons had a lovely game against Connexions Warriors. Lovely teamwork all round but Dragons sadly came away with a 42-28 loss.

On Wednesday there was a Cam derby! Hawks and Ospreys had a great play off but one team had to come out winners and that was Hawks this time round.

Falcons also had a great game on Wednesday against top of the table Koru Kiwis. A fantastic game but Cam just dropped the ball in the final quarter which meant Koru came away with a 41-25 win. 👎🏼

Today Jesters had a great game against Berkhamsted Royals. Despite starting with only 6 players, Cam fought hard and came away with a narrow 48-45 win. Well done to Emma for MVP in her play up!🥇

A couple of updates for Camelot from the last few weeks🏐

Knights had a great game against Whippets Pink where Cam came away with a 35-33 win. They also had a super game against Hemel Skies which saw a 56-28 win. Well done to Cherry and Nic for MVP.

Ladies have had some great wins with a special mention of their 53-24 win vs Horizons and a 42-31 win against Allstars. Shoutout to Teri, Jo and Emma for MVPs.

Jesters have had a great run of wins. They had a great game against Kings Langley which saw a 54-21 win and a tight game against Leighton Buzzard which saw a 45-40 win! Well done to Pippa and Shannen for MVPs.

Dragons had a great game against Netters Diamonds, winning 30-22, and another fab game against Kardale Purples, despite losing 43-17. Well done to Amy and Florence for MVPs.

Eagles had a great game against Koru. Despite putting up a fight, Cam lost with a score of 35-27.

Hawks had a great game against Queens, coming away with a 46-22 win after some insane defence from the team💪🏼 shoutout to Emma for MVP!

Ospreys had a super game of versatility against Rusty Mums with a stomping 60-15 win. Well done to Florence for MVP.

Another great week for Camelot last week!🏐

On Monday Camelot played unbeaten top of the table Pulsar in St. Albans indoor league. Camelot played brilliantly but were pipped at the post to lose by only one goal!🤯

On Wednesday all four teams were out! Falcons had a lovely game against Whippets Purple. It was a brilliant game with excellent timing, control and positioning (even some crawling!🤣) from all. Cam came away with a 35-23 win. Well done to Shan for POM👏🏼

Hawks played a nail-biting back and forth game vs Giants on Wednesday! A very close game with only 2 goals in each of the first 3 quarters 😱 but Cam held themselves and finished strong in Q4 to take the win 36-31 🙌🏻

Eagles had a lovely 38-25 win against Gadeside. Well done to Chloe for MVP!💪🏼

Ospreys had a very fast game against Stags Yellow. Eventually Cam settled, took control and had excellent play across the court from end to end allowing them to finish with a well deserved 32-23 win. Well done to Ashlee for MVP🏆

On Saturday Jesters had a lovely game against All Stars. A few moments of chaos cost Jesters a few goals but they came away with a 38-32 win. Well done to Shan for POM🥇
