It was a great day overlooking Loch Katrine yesterday. Bike ride and walking took us part way along the southern shore and then great soup at Pier Cafe in Stronachlachar. The colours are fabulous.

Faisal and family from Houston, Texas, had a great time this afternoon exploring Luss where we learned about the Colquhouns and their faeries and trolls. Best of all was skipping the flat slate stones over the Luss Water!
Loch Lomond Faerie Trail was a lot of fun too!

Robert Bull and family from Idaho enjoyed sailing with Cruise Loch Lomond Ltd across Loch Lomond from Luss to Balmaha where John guided them up the Druim Nam Buraich route on a climb of "The Conic". There is nothing particularly conical about "The Conic", whose modern name is an anglicised version of this steep sided little mountain's Gaelic name, "Cnoc", which means "Steep little hill"!

Anaesthetists, from Munich, Diana, Isabell and Thomas, climbed the Cobbler with John on Tuesday 6thJune. The midges were troublesome on the way to the top, but no one felt any pain!
