PRE-SEASON FIXTURE

The countdown is on!

We’re back in action on Saturday 19th September as we head away to take on Hessle RUFC in our latest pre-season game.

When we get towards the business end of the season, We don't want anyone looking around wondering where someone is.

We want every player here.

Every player ready.

Every player willing to do whatever it takes for the team.

Because we're going to need everyone. There will be injuries, suspensions, bad games, good games, difficult moments — but whatever happens, we stick together.

Nobody gets left behind.

We've put the foundation in during preseason.

Now we need to turn that work into results.

So from now until the end of the season, the standards stay high.

Train hard. Turn up. Back each other. Stay together.

Because when it gets tough, that's when we'll find out what we're really made of.

And when we reach the business end, We all want us looking around that changing room knowing:

Every single one of us gave everything.

Let's get to work.

A friend of the club, Charlie Patterson is playing in a charity game at Craven Park on Saturday 5th September if anyone is interested in supporting him and this great cause.

It was a great session last week, with great numbers down and plenty of new faces! If you want to give rugby union a go, this is a great chance to come down, have a run around and see what we’re all about.

For the first two weeks we'll be playing touch Rugby, giving everyone a chance to blow the cobwebs away, get back into the swing of things and have some fun before we move into fitness and drills.

Whether you've played rugby union for years, been away from the game for a while, or have never picked up a rugby ball before, everyone is welcome. No matter your experience or fitness level, just come down, get involved and see what we're all about.

New League For The 2026/2027 Season!

Next season we will be competing in the new East Yorkshire Merit League, which sees us play some familiar opposition from the last few years, plus some others that we've not lined up against for a few seasons. It's going to be a competitive and entertaining league, and we can't wait to take on the challenge!

🏉 PLAYERS WANTED – JOIN BP RUFC ❤️💛
Looking for a new challenge, a fresh start, or just a good group of lads to be around? BP RUFC are recruiting new players for the upcoming season.

Whether you’ve played Rugby Union for years, been away from the game for a while, or have never picked up a rugby ball before — all abilities are welcome. Fitness, experience and skill level don’t matter. If you’re willing to give it a go, we’ll help with the rest.

We’re a welcoming club both on and off the pitch. Competitive when it’s time to play, but just as strong socially, with a great group of people, plenty of laughs and a real team spirit.

Our home games are played at Eastside, near Hedon, and our away fixtures take us across East Yorkshire and surrounding areas so no long trips.
