📍 Location: Buckley, Flintshire
⏰ Hours: Long Days and Sleep-Ins on a Rolling Rota
📅 Weekend Working: Every Other Weekend Off (where possible)
💷 Salary: £13.60 - £14.10 plus additional complex task uplift.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞
We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic female Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a young woman with Autism, Down Syndrome and a Learning Disability within her own supported living home in Buckley, Flintshire.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, supporting people to achieve their goals and enabling individuals to live full and meaningful lives. The successful candidate will support a young woman to maintain her independence, access her community, enjoy her hobbies and participate in activities that are important to her.

• Shopping trips
• Theatre visits
• Cinema outings
• Music and dancing
• Arts and crafts
• Colouring and creative activities
• Cooking and baking

• Hair, beauty and self-care activities
• Using an iPad and watching television
A positive personality, good sense of humour and willingness to actively participate in activities are essential.

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝
Applicants should have experience supporting people with:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Learning Disabilities
• Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Mental health and emotional wellbeing needs
• Community-based support
• Promoting independence and choice
• Experience supporting individuals who experience anxiety, require structured routines and benefit from consistent support approaches would be highly advantageous.

𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
✅ Female applicant
✅ Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
✅ Confident driver willing to drive as part of the role
✅ Ability to work long day shifts and sleep-ins on a rolling rota
✅ Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends as required
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Full training will be provided; however, knowledge or experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

• Medication Administration
• Mental Capacity Act
• Communication and Person-Centred Support

A heartfelt thank you from Kathy 🧡
Following Kat’s most traumatic seizure to date, her mum, Kathy, shared some incredibly lovely words of thanks for the support and care Kat received during such a difficult and worrying time.

Kathy wanted to recognise the wonderful Bevris Support staff who cared for Kat while she was in ICU, resus and the AMU Assessment Ward, alongside the incredible care provided by the nursing and medical teams.
She shared that the Bevris staff have been a brilliant asset, and expressed her heartfelt thanks for all the support given to both her and Kat.

We’re so pleased that Kat is home, comfortable and doing well. 🧡
A huge thank you to everyone involved in supporting Kat and her family when they needed it most. Your dedication, compassion and care make such a difference.

A lovely day together at Greenfield Heritage Park! 🧡

We enjoyed a wonderful social event organised as part of our Bevris Active programme filled with fresh air, a lovely walk, coffee and plenty of time to catch up and enjoy each other’s company. It was fantastic to see everyone coming together, having a chat and enjoying some quality time out in the community. 😊

Last night, Rob supported Scotty to head down to the beach to watch the eclipse, creating a really special experience and a memory to remember. 🌙

It was fantastic to see Scotty enjoying the evening, getting out in the community and experiencing the eclipse. 🧡

Elinor had the biggest smile throughout the whole day, and it was wonderful to see her enjoying such a special experience with her staff and family. 😊

A huge thank you to Dawn and John for kindly organising the trip and thinking of every little detail - from the pre-planning, drinks and snacks to recycling and games. It really was a fantastic day made extra special by all the thought and care that went into it.

And of course, there was plenty of cake to celebrate John’s birthday! 🎂🥳
