Michael Evans, my grandfather and my dads father in law. The man who made Mikes Bikes from what was his hobby, to what it is today.
This man had a passion for cycling and turned it into a business that’s still thriving 30 years later. He would put so many time trialists to shame in the modern world, with gears that nobody could cope with today. No helmet or tri bars, just toeclips and an engine. Men like him with a woollen jumper and a jam sandwich in their pocket, with legs for days, made cycling what it is for the generations after them.
