Charging more as a wellness practitioner gets easier the moment you answer one question honestly.

I asked a room of over 1000 women in Denver to write it down before I said anything else on that stage.

“What does wealth in my hands get to create?”

It is the only money question I have found that does not start an argument with yourself.

Most of us were trained to believe that wanting money & caring deeply sit at opposite ends of the same room - in health & wellness that belief is practically part of the uniform.

So we do the arithmetic on our own worth, & then we refuse to act on it.

HOWEVER

The number was almost never the obstacle. I have watched women stall for years on the permission rather than the maths🫶🏽

Money is not the opposite of care - It is the delivery mechanism for the care you already have & it decides how far that care is able to travel.

In 2020 I was signing on for Universal Credit with every penny tied up in a clinic I was not allowed to work in. The counselling centre in Kenya that I now sponsor was already sitting on that vision board.

That centre exists because the money arrived. The money arrived because I stopped treating my own wealth as a character flaw I needed to apologise for.

So answer it properly this week, with real names & real places in your answer.

You are allowed to want the money that carries your work further than your hands are able to reach.

I gave up proving myself a while ago - however it’s kinda fun to think back to the projections I got as a 10 year old girl.

Two days ago I stood on the Living Brave Live stage in Denver, Colorado & told a room full of women the thing my whole business is built on.

Rewind to 2020. I was on the phone signing up for Universal Credit, every penny I had was tied up in a clinic I wasn’t allowed to work in.

The very thing I had been avoiding my entire life became my reality.

That same week I made a DELUSIONAL vision board. On it was a picture of a huge international stage & a powerhouse woman standing in it. I knew one day I would become her.

THIS WEEK my dream became my reality & 95% of that delusional vision board is now my LIFE.

Not because I hustled harder than everyone else or waited until I felt ready - I stopped letting my work be my industry’s best-kept secret & I let it be SEEN.
