JDS provide first class teaching in a caring and encouraging approach in order to inspire every student. With dedicated teachers we hope to motivate all pupils in a safe and friendly environment to achieve their fullest potential. All students are nurtured and encouraged to develop their creativity and confidence through the wide variety of classes we have on offer from 4 1/2 years and over. Give your child the chance to dance at JDS where there’s always a warm and friendly welcome!

🌟 Congratulations to Miss Chloe! 🌟

Miss Chloe has spent the first week of the summer holidays at the Royal Academy of Dance, proudly becoming one of the very first teachers to qualify to deliver their brand-new Musical Theatre syllabus, launching this September! 🎭✨

✨ This exciting new syllabus offers:
🎭 Brand-new Musical Theatre Solo Exams and Group Awards
🎓 OFQUAL-regulated qualifications, with UCAS points available for Grades 6–8
💃 The only Musical Theatre syllabus to place dance alongside singing and acting as a core discipline
⭐ Equal focus on the three essential elements of Musical Theatre: dance, singing and acting
🌟 Inspiring choreography created by award-winning West End and Broadway choreographers

We can't wait to explore this exciting new opportunity with our JDs in the future!

🎭 Good luck to our Annie stars! ❤️

Rehearsals are well underway for Emerald City Stageworks’ production of Annie, with performances taking place 6th–8th August!

A huge good luck to our JDs Blythe, who will be playing Molly, Ocean-Blue, who will be playing Pepper, Anaiya, Ava C, Isabella, Lola M, Martha and Summer.

Just a few days to go until Isla takes to the AED National Finals stage with her captivating Narrative solo, Grace O'Malley! ✨

We are all so proud of you, Isla, and will be cheering you on every step of the way. A special mention also goes to Miss Donna for choreographing such a powerful and engaging routine, bringing the story of the legendary Pirate Queen to life.

If you'd like to come along and support Isla, she will be performing at the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne, this Sunday 26th July in the afternoon section, beginning at 2.15pm.

The AED National Finals bring together the winners and runners-up from all seven regions, making this an incredible achievement and promising an exceptionally high standard of performance.

A wonderful afternoon in London watching Lauren and Mirabelle in their end-of-year Work Sharing for Prep 1 and Prep 2 at Central School of Ballet. Such a beautiful performance and a real treat to be there. Thank you so much for sharing one of your tickets with me. 🩰

Congratulations to Marla and Lahaina, who also had their last class of the school year this morning and will be moving up to JA2 in September ✨
