Ash Family Row We are the Ash family. Charlotte, Camilla, James and Henry. We are raising £300,000 for Su***de&Co. Be part of our journey.

We are rowing the Atlantic in memory of Robert, our husband, father and friend who we lost to su***de in September 2023.

🌊 In December 2027, the four of us are rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic.

🚣 La Gomera to Antigua. One boat, around 50 days at sea, sleeping in shifts and washing out of a bucket.

❤️ We're doing it for Robert, our husband, father and friend, who we lost to su***de in 2023.

🎯 And to raise £500,000 for Su***de&Co, who support people bereaved by su***de.

👋 Are we terrified? Yes. Do we know how to row an ocean? Not quite yet. Will we manage? With your help, yes.

We’re so sad to hear the news about the legendary Dolly Parton today 💗

As some of you may know, our boat is actually called Dolly Parton! 🚣‍♀️🌊

The name comes from the incredible all-female ExtraOARdinary crew who rowed this very boat 3,000 miles across the Atlantic in an astonishing 42 days, 7 hours and 17 minutes back in 2022 💪

They even set a new world record for the fastest Atlantic crossing by a female trio 🌊

They named the boat after Dolly, and she even gave the team a brilliant shout-out herself on BBC news

She may have had a fresh paint job since then, but the name and story remain

We’ll be thinking of Dolly as we row 9 to 5… (and 5 to 9!) 🎶💖
