Waleed has only been a part of our club for two seasons, but it already feels like he has been here for a long time, and that's because of his exceptional dedication, passion, and commitment to the game.

Not only does he possess great ability and skill on the pitch, but he is also a kind-hearted gentleman who is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone, whether it's a fellow teammate or an opponent. His positive attitude and sportsmanship have made him a valuable asset to our team.

Congratulations to HCC Club Legend Dan Stone who during the 2026 season achieved not one, but TWO incredible milestones!

Dan took his 250th League wicket this past weekend, a testament to his exceptional bowling skills and dedication to the sport. This impressive feat is a remarkable achievement in itself, but what's even more astonishing is that he went past 1000 league runs on Saturday, 25th July, showcasing his incredible all-round abilities as a player.

Whilst we celebrate this fantastic achievement, it's worth noting that Dan was playing before we had a full history on play-cricket, so these figures may not show the true extent of his achievements as a brilliant player and Clubman. In fact, it's likely that his actual numbers are even more impressive than what we can currently account for!

Let's take a moment to appreciate the hard work, perseverance, and passion that Dan has brought to the game over the years. He's an inspiration to us all and a true legend of HCC Club!

🏏Fantasy Cricket Update🏏

With only two weekends remaining, team selections have become increasingly critical as the competition approaches its culmination.

Usman Balouch made his inaugural appearance in the Team of the Week, accumulating 245 points and securing the Player of the Week title.

Tyler Dobson earned Manager of the Week honors with an impressive 790 points.

Sam Robertson maintains a narrow lead at the top of the main table, with the chasing pack trailing by a margin of just over 100 points.
