Not an ideal start conceding a penalty in the first few minutes but the boys showed a great response and Jude summed up that great attitude with his equaliser. Chasing a lost cause ,not giving in and creating the goal out of nothing.

A great ball from Alfie was brilliantly finished by Cole to make us go ahead in the game and we took control from then on.

The other 2 goals were excellent. Great skill by Evan for Dorian's and Coles brilliant individual goal again creating it from nothing.

Delighted to be 4-1 at HT

2nd half I would have liked a couple more but it wasn't to be and we restricted Calderbraes to very little so overall very pleased to get our first 3 points on the table.

We really should have had the game put to bed in the 1st half. Really wasteful with our chances and sloppy in possession . From 2-0 to 2-2 we must do much better.

But to be down to 9 men and still managing to get the winner and see the game out showed a lot of character,they were brilliant in that last period of the game.

On to the semifinal we go. 👏

Excellent win and performance tonight by the boys.

We started the game really well and deserved to go 1 up but half way through the 1st half Stamperland came back into it and got their equaliser. 1-1 at HT seemed a fair scoreline.

2nd half we stepped up a few gears and were outstanding. The build up leading to the goals was brilliant and we defended really well when needed .

Proud of them tonight against a very good team .

I really could have picked a number of them tonight.Jude in particular was brilliant as was Rhys and Shay . But Chris at left back was outstanding he gets MOTM tonight well done to him.

Delighted to get the 2 points in what was a really tough game on Saturday morning.

As the season goes on we'll definitely get better but we're happy enough to pick up the points and look forward to another tough game on Wednesday against Stamperland.

MOTM Euan. All round game was really good ,won his battles and was very composed under pressure.

Last pre season match before the League cup starting on Saturday. The pitch wouldn't really allow us to play how we like but a good run out and another step in getting ready for the season.

As we prepare for our league cup campaign starting next week we had a great win and performance against a very good Port Glasgow side. Recovered really well from being 2-0 down early in the match, scored some great goals and looking much fitter than we did last week. One more friendly on Tuesday then full focus is on our match on Saturday.
