We’re back at home this Saturday as we welcome Gartcosh United to Eddlewood Park in the WoSFL Fourth Division.

Both sides have made a strong start to the season and everything is set for a great game of football at Eddlewood Park.

The backing we’ve had at home has been brilliant and we want to see another big crowd through the gates this weekend. Bring your family, bring your mates and come along and get behind your local team.

🚨SCOTTISH COMMUNITIES CUP | MATCH REPORT🚨

We progressed to the second round of the Scottish Communities Cup today after a hard-fought game against Dundee St James that eventually went all the way to penalties.

I thought we started the game well and created enough chances to put ourselves in front. We had two goals disallowed for offside and Daniel Collins was unlucky to see an effort come back off the bar.

Dundee then took their first real chance of the game after we made a mistake defensively, but the boys reacted well. Keane Campbell got us back level with a great individual goal, taking his man on before producing a brilliant chip into the top corner.

We spoke at half-time about keeping our concentration, so it was frustrating to concede again in the 46th minute from another defensive error. It gave us a difficult second half, but credit to the boys because they kept going and we continued to put Dundee under pressure.

We eventually got what we deserved in the 90th minute when Josh Clark scored the equaliser to make it 2-2 and take the tie to penalties.

The boys held their nerve in the shootout and we got the result to put Eddlewood into the second round.

There are definitely things we need to improve on, particularly the two goals we gave away, but the most important thing in cup football is getting through to the next round and we've done that.
