💙 Just a little note about our upcoming closures 💙

Our Skillshop Pool will be closed Monday 17th - Sunday 22nd August for a 1 week break.

Our office will be closed Sunday 16th August- Sunday 23rd August and we may be unable to respond to emails and messages during this time.

This is so our team can take a well earned break 😊

Classes at Warley Road on Saturdays and Sundays will continue to run as usual.

We are launching new Saturday Morning classes at Warley Road Academy, HX1, starting Saturday 8th August.

💙 Yesterday we held our first ever outdoor water activity session with some of our swimmers at the amazing Doe Park Water Activities Centre 💙

We really wanted to be able to bring some of our water safety lessons from the pool to life in an outdoor water setting and it was everything we hoped it would be 😊

We learnt about the measures in place to keep everyone safe, such as wetsuits, buoyancy vests, instructors and the safety boat. We jumped in, floated on our backs, tread water, swam back and climbed out. We learnt to kayak and paddleboard, played games and worked as a team 🙌🏻

We talked about how different swimming outdoors was to our pool and how different and more dangerous it could have been without all those safety measures in place and that even our strong swimmers, wearing wetsuits on a summer's day felt the cold and tired more easily.

We are so proud of all of our swimmers who took part, they did amazing and all listened so well. We really hope to be able to offer more of these sessions in future 😊

A big thank you to the team at Doe Park, they were really great!
