Charlie set himself a challenge of summiting the top 10 highest mountains in the Lake District with a camp somewhere on route. Whilst he didn't quite manage all 10 due to a ni**le flaring up in his knee from a previous injury, he still had a full day in the mountains followed with a camp.

"In a nutshell, the idea of my adventure was to run/hike in the Lakes and pitch the tent somewhere to spend the night, so I still class it as a success."

The Fellsman 2026 - 17:38:25 🗻🏃

Whilst I’m never the one to complain about the sun shining, it did bring on some tough conditions. Feeling nauseous from the 20 mile mark I was digging deep way too early in the race than I liked. I feel like this was caused by focusing more on hydration and not eating enough. After a rough 3 or so hours I managed to get back in the game and finish with a time I was happy with.

This race is seriously one of a kind. Thank you again to the organisers for the months of time put into organising such an amazing event, and for booking the sunshine! ☀️ Also thank you to all the volunteers, you lot are the best!

This was my 3rd year in a row at this event, I’m absolutely certain there will be a 4th.
