🌿 Hello from the very unofficial marketing, admin and “whatever needs doing” team 👋

This post has been written by a daughter in pyjamas… and wellies.

The whole crew is working hard behind the scenes to hopefully make some really exciting progress soon 🐮🤞
Stick around and hear why you shouldn’t just support us… you should support your local producers.

This farm started as Mum’s dream: To keep healthy, happy animals, produce good, seasonal, food that we’re confident to feed our kids and ourselves, and look after the land in a way we could be proud of.

The reality? Lots of early mornings, juggling a horse livery, late nights, muddy boots, endless cups of tea and the occasional farm job completed in whatever clothes were closest to the door…yes, sometimes that includes pyjamas… 🙋🏼‍♀️ and yes, the wellies still go on.

Like many family farms, it’s never just one job. It’s paperwork, fixing things that definitely weren’t broken yesterday, looking after animals (or looking for them 🐑👀)
remembering packed lunches and keeping the laundry going in between… although the socks may not always make it back in pairs 🫣

Behind everything we do is a lot of care. We know our animals, what they’ve eaten, how they’ve been managed and the life they’ve had.

Farming isn’t without its challenges. Rising costs, changing regulations and uncertainty mean so many family farms are under pressure. Yet every day farmers and those who work with our land keep going, because producing good food and caring for the countryside still matters.

We don’t farm because it’s easy. We farm because we believe in healthy animals, good food and leaving the land in a better way than when we found it.

We’d love to hear from you!

• Inquire about what seasonal meat we have and will have throughout the year- the more we can pre-allocate to local people the better! 🐖🐑🐮
• Pop us a message about our current horse livery spaces.
• Or if you’re also battling livestock that have no respect for fences and effort.

Please give us a follow and a share, but most importantly support your local farms and the real people behind them 🌱
