Some mixed results from our friendlies, but lessons learned and fitness improved, ready to bring on the new season 💪🏻

Our Man Of The Match for our final pre-season friendly has gone to our number 1 again 🏆
He has always impressed us in goal and on multiple occasions helped keep us in the game, and most impressively this game, his 1-on-1s were faultlessly phenomenal - brave, ruthless and solid👏🏻
No doubt that there will be many more MotM awards going his way this season 💪🏻

Going into the season off the back of a loss, but no reason to be downbeat
Managed to hold off a well organised Griffin for most of the game, with two silly mistakes to concede the goals 🤝
But lessons learned, fitness improved and a hunger for the new season grown!

Last friendly before the season kicks off next weekend ⏰
Facing familiar opposition, but always a mixed bag of results against Griffin Athletic, so could be anyone's game!
More about working on tactics and fitness than results, but looking forward to it no matter what

Charlie is no stranger to scoring goals, to the point where he has to do something pretty special to earn Man Of The Match now..
But his performance on Sunday was something pretty special! Not just the fact he scored 4 goals, but his movement, skill and style of scoring was a joy to watch ⚽
Just give him the golden boot now 🏆 👏🏻

Slightly delayed, but another great result for our lads on Sunday 👏🏻
All credit to our oppo, they gave us a good game and the scoreline probably flatters us a bit, but we proved to be very clinical infront of goal 💪🏻
Hoping to carry this into the looming season 🤞🏻

As the season draws closer, we continue to put the work in, this time against Woking Vets 🤝
Come up against them in friendlies a couple of times before, so looking forward to a good run around tomorrow 💪🏻

After the success of last week's pre-season friendly, we go up against Ashtead Casuals 🤝
A team we haven't come up against before, but will be good to get some more minutes under our belts ⚽

Sundays Man Of The Match award from Sunday's friendly goes to a very deserving Andrew 🏆
Winning and scoring a penalty paled in comparison to his dominating work rate, being everywhere and winning everything 👏🏻
Sure there will be many more class performances like that in the coming season 💪🏻
