Keyon has been a great addition to our back line. Cool, composed and a turn of pace to get the back four out of trouble if required. Keyon has been solid all preseason and this player of the match award is probably a coming together of all those performances.

Everyone can see the talent and flair Joe has, we just need to see that flair, talent and telling contributions in games consistently. Tonight we got exactly that from Joe with a goal and an assist.

It was a tough day with only 5 players available at the Pitchside Tournament at Bradley, but the boys worked their socks off and only went and won!!🥇🏆

Well done Woody, Franklin, Harry, Harlow and Issac 👏🏻 and also Jesse (who is currently out injured) who was cheering his teammates on from the sidelines.

A special mention goes to Harlow who was chosen by the officials as the U8s player of the tournament 👏🏻 and also Harry and Franklin who were chosen by their coaches/parents as Devils players of the day.

What a performance from Josh today at the Hull U8s 5v5 Tournament! 💪🔥

Joshie was outstanding today, showing incredible strength, resilience and determination.Defensively, he was strong and composed — first to the ball, shutting down attacks and making great decisions on when to step up and pressure and when to hold his ground.

He also showed some brilliant footwork, confidently carrying the ball out from defence, beating opponents and helping Atlético transition from defence into attack. His passing and forward play created opportunities and even tested the opposition keeper!

Most importantly Josh, showed real leadership and a captain-like mentality — encouraging teammates, helping them maintain their positions and speaking up when needed.

An outstanding all-round performance and a thoroughly deserved Player of the Tournament.

Well done Josh — brilliant today!
