Sporting Club Grimsby

Last week it was fitting that our under 12’s were named the Sporting Award Winners by Crofts Estate Agents Youth Football League - Grimsby for our age group. It was fantastic that our behaviour and professionalism on & off the pitch was recognised over the year by our fellow opposition and league committee…..Thank you.

It is now time to close the Sporting Club Grimsby chapter. Lots of memories and friendships have been made over the last 3 years, with the odd trophy won on the way.

Next season we will be playing under the Grimsby Borough Juniors FC umbrella where we have already been made to feel very welcome.

What a wonderful afternoon we had today with our under 12’s at their presentation day.

A massive well done to the entire squad, we turned our fortunes around this year and finished on a massive high - you all deserve the very best and are a pleasure to coach.

Thank you to all the parents for your continued trust in us coaches.

It was an eventful day at Old Trafford yesterday for our u12’s but what an experience for them, playing against some good teams from Devon, Wales, Melksham and Wilmslow.

Thank you to Precision Pass for a well organised and successful tournament.

Louth Town Tournament u12’s Champions 🏆

Another great tournament by Pitchside Football - Tournaments & Events for our u12’s at Blundell Park at the weekend. There were only top quality teams in our group so the boys did extremely well to win 50% of their games including a great result against a hand picked super team. We also came away with the Most Sporting Team of the tournament award.

A great end to our 25/26 seasons for our u12’s yesterday in a very competitive and high action game with our friends at Louth Town that finished 3-3.

Lots of action until the very final seconds, against a talented team who always behave impeccably on and off the pitch.

Our players of the match went to Sam and Jenson, well done boys.
