Sometimes football can’t always be serious. There are times when you’ve just got to let the boys enjoy themselves and have a bit of fun. 👌

Tonight was our first training session of the season. With the numbers being limited, it was tough going, but every one of them put a shift in.

To finish the session, we had a fun, competitive drill where the losing team had to do a forfeit picked by the winners.

Safe to say there were plenty of laughs… well, from the winning team anyway! 😂😂⚽️

Today marked the end of pre-season for both teams, and it was another fantastic session at the Battery Park. 💪

Every boy who has attended throughout pre-season has worked incredibly hard and shown a brilliant attitude to prepare themselves for the season ahead. Their commitment and effort have been outstanding. 👏👏👏

I’d personally like to thank all the coaches at the Blacks and helper’s for welcoming our boys into the sessions and giving them the opportunity to train alongside players competing at a higher level. It has been a great experience for them. A big thank you also must go to our coaches for turning up constantly and helping, appreciated guys 👌

Most importantly, a huge thank you to all the boys at the Blacks for making our lads feel part of the group and welcoming them over the past few weeks. Your support and encouragement have been greatly appreciated. 👏

Now it’s time for the hard work to pay off.

Pre-season got underway a little earlier this morning at Lyle Hill so the boys could enjoy the rest of the day and night in the scorching weather. 👌☀️
