EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN THE CHERTSEY TOWN FC MATCHDAY MEDIA TEAM
Are you an aspiring sports journalist or media content creator looking to gain valuable experience in the sports media industry? Are you a student studying Media at a local College or University and love football?
Do you want to put your skills into action and help develop Chertsey Town FC’s matchday media activities to the next level, whilst building experience for your own CV?
We are looking for dedicated creative people to join our Matchday Media Team as we embark on our 2025/26 campaign at Step 3.
Responsibilities include:
- Match day social media - creating and posting pre-match info and teasers, live match updates and post-match reports across platforms including (but not limited to) Facebook, X, Instagram
- Electronic Scoreboard - responsible for creating on-screen digital media, configuring the scoreboard prior to each fixture and operating throughout the game (home games only)
- Post Match Interviews - recording and editing interviews with management, man of the match, goalscorers as appropriate, and posting to relevant channels
- Match Highlight Video - creation of match highlight reel from appropriate video assets
- Goal of the Month - creation of goal-reels and management of voting/award process

ANNOUNCEMENT
Chertsey Town are delighted to announce the appointment of Josh Gallagher as first team manager. This takes effect immediately.

Following an extensive non league playing career including stints at Leatherhead and Corinthian Casuals, Josh turned to management in 2021, masterminding a promotion winning side at Raynes Park Vale that took the club into the Isthmian League and establishing it’s place at Step 4.

A very pleased Chairman Mark Turner stated, “I have admired the manner of Josh’s application and results as a manager over the past couple of seasons so am delighted that he will be turning his skills to the advantage of The Curfews. He knows there is a big task ahead for him, but I am confident he will be the man to ensure that Chertsey Town continues to build on it’s recent successes.”

Josh added “I am really excited for the opportunity and cannot wait to get going. Chertsey Town is a fantastic football club with a brilliant support. I’m looking forward to meeting you all”.
