What a brilliant evening at karate yesterday!
The competitions were great fun, with excellent sportsmanship, some surprise winners, a few unexpected upsets and plenty of medals given out.
We also presented trophies for Best Sportsmanship and Best Karate, which were very well deserved.
It was lovely to thank Zoe and Charisse properly too, and I’m so pleased that they enjoyed their presentation. Thank you again for your generosity.
I also want to say a really big thank you to all the parents and families who show such commitment to the club — bringing the children week after week, supporting them and helping us to teach such a fantastic sport and genuinely high-quality karate.
Great Ayton Karate Club is a very special community club, and evenings like yesterday remind me exactly why.
Now we move into our summer training sessions, with all ages together, plenty of fun and, of course, plenty more karate!
