As we all head into the new season this weekend, we want every player to enjoy their football, develop and feel supported.

We ask all parents and supporters to play their part encourage the players, respect referees and coaches, applaud both teams and keep it positive.

Players will make mistakes. Referees will make decisions. That’s football. What matters is the environment we create for our young players.

🌈 Journey Through the Spec-fest is coming to Istead Rise! 🌈

We’re really pleased to be hosting this brilliant SEND family fun and awareness afternoon at Istead Rise Community Centre on Sunday 4th October, 3:30–5:30pm.

Organised by Journey through the spectrum, the afternoon has been created to give SEND and neurodiverse children and their families a safe, supportive and welcoming space to have fun and be themselves. ❤️

There’ll be messy sensory play, a calm area, glow sticks & lights, refreshments and the chance to meet Abby Squires – Ms Great Britain Kent 2026, with signed copies of her children’s book available too.

🎟️ £6 per child | £4 for siblings

Even better, all money raised will be supporting Cancer Research UK and A-Sisterhood.

A 1–0 defeat for the men today… but it could’ve been different if Warren the Club Chairman remembered what his head was for. 😂

Two headers missed, including one in the LAST MINUTE to make it 1–1. 😭 The screams say it all 🤣🤣

🏖️⚽ THE U11 BLUES ARE BACK! ⚽🏖️

After seven weeks without a competitive match, during which we can only the U11 Blues squad appear to have disappeared off to Ibiza for pre-season sun, dancing and absolutely no football, today it was finally time to get the boots back on. 😂🌴

And yes… they were a little rusty! 😬
But game by game they got better, stronger and sharper, and by the final match we were looking much more like the Blues we know. 💙⚽
Unfortunately, the tournament wasn’t quite meant to be for them today, but after seven weeks away, there was loads to be pleased about and the club couldn’t be prouder of them.

❤️ Football bringing generations together ⚽

It was absolutely brilliant to welcome some of the gentlemen from The Bridge Care Home down to support both Istead teams at Sunday’s tournament.

They told us what a great time they had and how watching the football brought back memories of when they were younger which was really lovely to hear ⚽️⚽️
