I started Shotokan and the grading syllabus showed me the way. It breaks skills into clear steps—kihon, kata, kumite, self-defence—so you know what to practice. Train regularly. Focus on basics. Ask for feedback. Visualise success. Pass each grading and watch your confidence grow.
