In my opinion, boxing is something that every kid should be involved in. Why do I think that? 🤔

-Builds their confidence 🥊
-Teaches discipline and respect 🫡
-Encourages emotional control and self control 🧘
-Develops their social skills and promotes team work 🤝
-Works on all of their motor skills like, coordination, balance, agility etc. Vital to a kids development 🎾
-Improves their physical fitness and is a healthy outlet for all their energy 💪🏼
-It’s also a lot of fun 🎉

Very important to remember‼️ kids boxing doesn’t mean they are thrown into contact from the first day. Only the kids that are ready, and want to try sparring will touch on light contact. We focus on fitness, technique, pads, bags, footwork, coordination, controlled drills, along with fun and games 🙌

Attention‼️

We will be combining the senior class with the youth group tonight from 6:00–7:00pm, so the 7:00–8:15 class is cancelled. The seniors will just mix with the youth group during 6:00–7:00, similar to a Saturday class.

SBA’s Evan Bell will be taking part in assessments with Boxing Scotland this afternoon at the High Performance Centre in Bridgeton 📈

Evan had a fantastic season, winning King of the Ring in Sweden 🥇🇸🇪, and then taking silver in a thrilling three bout run🥈

He was then offered a place at the British Championships to represent his country 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, but unfortunately he couldn’t attend due to a last minute call up.

Evan has been working hard throughout the summer and is looking to start where he left off, building on last season 🚀💪🏼
