Probus U13’s vs Lanivet U13’s
Final Score 3-1

A testing start to the season for the U13’s. An early goal from Probus should have settled the nerves, good work from Brendon on the right wing and a looped cross that fooled the keeper and defender and a good finish from Ollie as he crashed it into the net. Lanivet equalised not long after with some good passing play. Probus defended well but were guilty of hoofed clearances and sluggish play until the 2nd half when they relaxed a bit more. A corner from Will, a good header from Charlie at the back post across to Brendon who turned and shot home. A final goal was added by Brendon 5 mins later. A slow start but they got into their stride and did their jobs well. Need to be sharper against a better team. Notable mentions: Eddie played well on the left wing. Was replaced by Max who has gotten a lot quicker over the summer.

Probus Youth FC 26/27 season has begun! The club and committee wish all teams and coaches all the best for the season ⚽ Go Probus Youth

This week's featured team are the under 16s who had their first competitive match of the season today. After a busy pre season, they kicked off against premiership team Looe in the county cup. Despite being a league below their opponents, Probus controlled the game from the first whistle and game out deserved 3-0 winners.

Probus Youth FC have unveiled their new football gazebo this weekend at the Tregorrick tournament, doesn't it look smart ❤️⚽💛

Also congrats to the U12s who made it to the final of the Silver Cup. They narrowly lost in the final but showed fantastic attitude and character as their opposition were mostly school mates. They cheered each other on in previous matches, gave high fives and hugs and even sang the national anthem together before the game. Well done lads
