Good evening.. CHAT2US members and guests had a lovely day celebrating our final day. We saw the lovely chaps from the Travelin' Shedders to get us in the swing followed by lunch and then Cheryl and Dave Rawlinson... if you haven't listened to this lovely couple then you need to get them in, they're voices are mint! They got our Fran up dancing the Congo.. she amazed everyone, it was lovely to see.

I hope you all enjoy your little gifts from me, the ladies got fans and the men backscratchers. The fans i think are definitely needed in the weather we have been having, and well, the men I'm sure will enjoy a good scratch.

And the sad news I am closing and archiving this page this week. I hope you have enjoyed and found my posts interesting and at times helpful for you. I shall still be running A Voice For Gosport page and posting some of the health related items on there alongside items concerning Gosport.
And of course, you will still be able to contact me on Facebook messenger.

I hope you will keep in contact with me when you can. Take care everyone, sending best wishes to whatever and wherever your life takes you next 😉

Just a few more days until CHAT2US' Final Party... we have had a couple of apologies from members, and that of DBE Dame Caroline Dinenage, who has to be in Westminster earlier that day.

We are looking forward to seeing the Travelin' Shedders again whom the group is always keen to see, and new for us, Cheryl and Dave Rawlinson who Trustee, Su Seymour put us in contact with.

I am happy to hear the weather shall be cooler for us, but we will have plenty of cool drinks ready for our members and entertainers.

We also have invited guests from other charitable community groups with us, who we are delighted to be able to donate to before saying goodbye.

Did you know that a microchip is only as useful as the details linked to it? If your petʼs contact information isnʼt up to date, it can make reuniting you even harder if they ever go missing. 🧐

Microchipping is now a legal requirement for all cats over the age of 20 weeks and dogs over the age of 8 weeks.

Take a moment this National Microchipping Month to check your petʼs microchip details - we are here to help if needed. ✅

As we are closing our journey on CHAT2US we want to spread what we have to local communities. We have donated our gazebo to local 12th Gosport Scout Group, whose hut is in St. Lukes Road, and was collected this evening by Scout Leader Miles Plested. We hope it will give the youngsters a lot of use and able them to sit out of the sun to earn their badges.. best wishes from CHAT2US
